3:20 *grumble grumble*

Alas poor Wii game
no longer to be played here.
no more games for kids.

Another $50 gone bye bye...

2:40

Denise:

slowly things get clean
more done today than all week
clean underwear! YAY!

Um...at some point after noon...

I got side tracked making lunch for the kids and calling government agencies about stuff so...I regret to inform you I have nothing. Lia on the other hand! She has freed herself of baby and has ventured on through thick and thin, continuing our endeavor to CLEAN OUR HOUSES!

...with haiku's.

1:44
time to pick up toys!
where did this come from?
plastic secretly breeding.

and 1:55! She's going for a record!
cleaned here before!
one block in, two blocks back out.
futile endeavor.

More to come!

12:00

Ok, so things went a little wonky with our schedule with unexpected hubby's coming home. In the meantime, here's a haiku for the hour...

On their way home now.
Make lunch on top of cleaning.
More work for us. Yay.

10:40-11:00

Lia has a little one still nursing and he was falling asleep so we took an extra 20 break for that to happen. But we still made haiku's.

Lia:
baby falls asleep
will he sleep alone? no way!
prisoner in chair.

Denise:
Little baby sleep.
Let mama put you down now.
We have clean. Boo.

10:00 - 10:20

Denise:
Crayon in the wash.
Brand new sheets are colorful!
Jess has purple socks.

Lia:
toilet brush still gone
bathroom otherwise finished.
why did he take it?

On a side note...Evan was eating a piece of bacon and started choking on it. Thankfully I took the CPR class at my church and as soon as I saw him choking, grabbed him, held him upside down, and a few quick smacks on the back and it plopped on the floor. Gross, but hey, no choking boy. He's fine now. In fact, about a minute after the episode, he was throwing himself on the bed as I tried to make it. All is well.

Today is Haiku Cleaning Day

Lia and I are doing a cleaning run today. 20 minutes cleaning, 20 minutes of lamenting having to clean. While cleaning, we are required to think of a haiku to exercise our brains so they don't atrophy in the tedious nature of everyday chores. Here they are from 9:20-9:40.

Denise:
I did some laundry.
The machines are eating socks.
I want them to stop.

Lia:
Cloth diapers are cheap,
enviromentally sound,
but my god they smell.

The End.
